Ingredients

  • Batter:

  • 2 Cups Al Baker flour
  • ½ Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ Cups Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons White Vinegar
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons red food coloring
  • ¼ Cup Butter, melted
  • Cream Cheese Glaze

  • 200 Grams Cream cheese, softened
  • 6 Tablespoons Butter, softened
  • 2 Cups Confectioners’ sugar
  • ½ Teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ Cup milk

Instructions

 

Step 1 :

Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together Al baker flour, cocoa, soda, salt, and baking powder, set aside.

Step 2 :

In large mixing bowl whisk milk and vinegar, then allow mixture to rest for 2 minutes. add sugar, eggs, food coloring, vanilla and butter. Whisk mixture until well combined. While whisking, slowly add in dry ingredients and mix just until combine.

Step 3 :

Heat griddle and pour about a 1/4 cup batter at a time onto hot griddle. Cook until bubbles begin to appear on the top surface of the pancakes then flip and cook opposite side until pancake is cooked through. Serve warm.

Step 4 :

Cream Cheese Glaze: In a bowl, using an electric hand mixer, blend together cream cheese and butter until well combine and fluffy. Add in sugar, vanilla and milk and mix about 1 minute until well combined.
