Sweet delicacy with mastic and pine nuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Ghee shortening
  • 1 Cup Confectioners’ Sugar
  • 3 Cups Al Baker Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Mastic powder
  • For garnish: pine nuts

Instructions

 

Step 1 :

Preheat oven to 300 F. Use cookie sheet lined with baking paper.

Step 2 :

Beat Ghee in mixing bowl for 5 minutes, or until fluffy.

Step 3 :

Cream in sugar. Add vanilla and mastic.

Step 4 :

Slowly add in Al Baker Flour and mix on low speed for 6 minutes.

Step 5 :

Chill for two hours.

Step 6 :

Shape a small piece of dough into a ball then place on the cookie sheets.

Step 7 :

Place one pine nuts in the center of each Goraiba.

Step 8 :

Bake for 12 minutes. Leave to cool on the cookie sheet.
