Ingredients

  • 1 cup Al Baker flour
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • ¼ teaspoon mastic powder
  • 4 ½ cups milk
  • ½ cup sugar sugar syrup:
  • Cups

  • Teaspoon

  • Assorted Nuts

Instructions

 

Step 1 :

use medium ramekins or cups. Brush it with some oil. Keep aside.

Step 2 :

In a medium melt the butter, add Al Baker flour and corn flour, heat while stirring all the time until light golden. Add, milk, sugar, and mastic powder.

Step 3 :

Stirring all the time until mixture is thick and start to boil.

Step 4 :

Pour into cups, chill well. Put Ashtaliya in plate, top with nuts and sugar syrup.

Step 5 :

Sugar Syrup: in small casserole put sugar, water and lemon juice, bring to boil then simmer for 7 minutes.
